I love the term “productivity hangover”. :) Spot on.
I recently wrote an article that investigates how many hours a human can actually work in a day (https://medium.com/@christinawyvern/how-many-hours-can-you-actually-be-productive-in-a-day-d183b7797144). There is a sweet spot that you can hit consistently without having to compensate for it the next day. But it is much lower than most people expect of themselves. Which leads to never ending feelings of “not being good enough”.
It’s really an important topic to spend some time thinking about. So we can set the right expectations for ourselves. I will be doing more research into this and writing more guides.
Thanks for writing about this!
